With Video Comments In Place, Should We Have Audio Too?

By Chacha on July 4, 2009

Many blogs have already implemented commenting systems that allow you to comment in many ways, ranging from commenting in text, to responding with a video, or allowing comments from sites like Friendfeed to be pulled right in. But in this blogĀ post, Steve Rubel is trying to find out if audio comments are worth implementing.

Audio only media is seemingly being shut out by a wide variety of applications and mediums because it isn’t as interesting a video. With video, you can see the person on the other line and the conservation is more likely to be like a real encounter, unlike audio which contains no screen at all.

Do you think that audio only mediums should be weeded out? Leave it in the comments
