Many blogs have already implemented commenting systems that allow you to comment in many ways, ranging from commenting in text, to responding with a video, or allowing comments from sites like Friendfeed to be pulled right in. Audio only media is seemingly being shut out by a wide variety of applications and mediums because it isn’t as interesting a video. With video, you can see the person on the other line and the conservation is more likely to be like a real encounter, unlike audio which contains no screen at all.
